I know what you're thinking "Oh no not another set of starship combat rules", well yes they are but I believe these are a good, playable set of rules. I've been searching for a few years now for a good set of starship combat rules and have been unable to find a set I like (either commercially or on the Internet). Many rules are too complicated and/or too slow.
Well, a few weeks ago I was invited to play a Hammerin Iron II ACW naval game (rules by those awfully nice chaps at Peter Pig). I found both a movement system and combat system I was looking for. If you are interested in naval warfare I highly recommend these rules. So what we have here is an adaption of those rules for starship combat.
